Alive and working (slooooooooowly)

Sorry, but I've been a bit lost those last weeks (or even months). Those last days I've been improving the original model, following an anatomy review Kyrieru's did for me (thanks once again, K!).
I modified, neck, shoulders, hips, ass, ankles... etc. That's how she looks now...

So, what do you think? Are there more things I should improve? (You can compare this concept with the previos one here)

About the game, I'm going to resume a couple of things extracted from conversations posted in previous comments:
- Game's provisional name: I'm considering different ones, and the most promising name is "Raped Justice" (レイプ正義). In a near future, I'll surely make a post to receive your suggestions for other possible names.
- Hairstyle: I haven't totally abandom the idea of the ponytail. But I relized that I do love the short hair. Maybe I could add hairstyle options in the game, probably using talent points.
- Talents: I thought 3 talent trees (Diablo II like) in the game:
     * Weapons talent tree (DPS): Points in this tree increase weapon damage, quicker shooting... etc.
     * Athletic talent tree (Tank): Points increase HP, resistance to damage, higher jumping, faster movement.
     * Sex talent tree: Points here will be used to receive less damage from rapes, to make her more attractive to enemies, and to enable some character configuration (like eyes color, hairstyle, boobs size... I don't know yet)

The new face

This is the temporary face of the main character. I'd like to have your opinions before making it definitive.

She is a police woman, and her name is Niki Netsu (熱 ニキ).
(Does anyone get the reference? xD)

Update:
How she looks after Kyrieru's tips:
Thanks K!

A new character for a new game

I've started to design the main character for my next game. I've used Beth as model for most of parts (I don't even have done her face), but as long as my next game will be a 2D shooter, I need this character to be more animatable than Beth. She will need to jump, run, crouch, shoot, and... err... doing some unconfortable sexual positions. xD

So, this new character will have more parts than Beth (for example 3 pieces for hips), so she can pose like this:

In a few days I hope to have finished her face. This time, the character will be more manga style.

Also, I'd like to remark that Sex Realm is not totally dropped. As soon as I get a job, I'll continue with it (unless fans start loving my new project even more than SR).

Game ending

Honestly, I don't know when I'll be able to finish the game. So, I've decided to unveal the end of the story, for those interested into knowing it.

If you want to read it, just check this post's first comment. Otherwise, you shouldn't do it. xD

And why do we fall, Bruce?

"So we can learn to pick ourselves up."

I figured out my problems: if I can't find a job, I must create it.
I'm going to create a game to sale (just as Kyrieru did). This will also keep my mind busy and not thinking in other issues.

I'm planning another game, not so ambitious. It will probably have those features:
- Flash programmed (for vectorial graphics better than pixel-art).
- 2D arcade: Mostly Nanocrisis-like. Engine adaptable to 2D platform games, for a side project in a future.
- GOR.
- Clothes damage.
- Multilingual (at least English/Japanese/Spanish, maybe Russian/Italian/French)
- A few RPG elements with talent tree.

I think I could do something like Fighting Yuna or Shinobi Girl.
If I could get as much sales as Fighting Yuna, it will be a success, and I could work as full-time H-game programer.

As soon as my idea take form, I'll start working in the first demo. Also, in order to not disapoint my fans, I'll surelly do most of the game for free, and an extra version (with only a few features) to sale.

Game over

Now it's official, I can't work any more in my game.

I'm not at my best momment. I can't find any job after a year searching. Also, I'm going through family problems and lovesickness.

Does that mean that you'll never play a new version of my game? I don't know. I count on pass this situation. I always do. Then I'll probably continue it. I enjoy working with Flash a lot (drawing and programming). I'm pretty sure that the game programming bug will bite me again, but I don't know when. But I can't concentrate until I figure out my life.

I hope to see you all soon. Otherwsie, I loved the road I walked with you all.

PS. Don't lose the faith, at least my greatest inspirator is back:

Not dead yet

There are some rumours about if I have dropped the project...
I took a little recess. But after a couple of weeks, I'm back and working in a new H-event.

Road

The game is progressing too slowly, but the good news are that I'm not giving up. I still keep on working on it, but not doing interesting things.

The last feature I've been working in was a road. I think I finally got something that can be considered as one:

And, as you can see in the picture, I've decided to name the town as Nilbog. xD

PS. I've also detected an issue: the addition of elements to the game it's producing some slowdown while moving along the map. I could fix it, but if you haven't notice that issue in the last version, maybe it's not a real problem. In that case, I should spend my time with more playable stuff rather than fixing it.

Necessary mini-update

We were discussing about updates, and thanks to our anonymous hero's report, I finally found the corruption saves bug.
That was the only problem: finding what was causing it. Once I knew it, it was fixed.

This important fix makes necessary a new update. Thanks to it, you now can load your old corrupted files (but I don't recommend you, because new variables have been added to the saves).
Also, some other bugs has been fixed, such as:
- Merchant inventory bug (thanks to the Strike's report).
- Eye of Death bug.
- Wrong date in saved files bug (thanks to all that reported it).
And maybe another bug I don't remember right now.

Anyway, in this new update you finally can find the mage's house and read the story. Other than that, there is no new content.

You can download v0.385 in the download section.

A question

I'm adding new quests and enemies for the next big release. But I prefer to offer to you guys a complete new area with new quests and enemies. I mean, I don't want to publish small releases with 1 or 2 new quests each time: that would make you try once again the same game in order to play the new content.

So, I don't want to make you download a new update just to find a new tree and a new enemy only.

But I prefer to ask to you all. Do you prefer to wait a couple of months (maybe 3) to the next big release or having small minireleases?

Somebody's house

It seems that Beth has found a cabin in the new zone... Who could live here?
(I must add furniture xD)

Future map

Those days, I'm considering how big the new zone should be. And the option I like most is creating a really huge map. But players won't have to explore all. I mean, the quests will take place in a small part of the whole map. The rest of the will be there just for people who want to explore.
Doing that, I want to give players the feeling of being in a huge world. WoW players know what I mean: you don't have to explore all Azeroth, but if you like it, you can do it.
GTA:San Andreas is another example. The game takes place in 3 main cities, but you can find small side quests in small towns lost in the mountains.

But before doing it, I want to have your opinions about that.

Making your own Beth

New features finished for the next release. I got the idea from GP's Dusty's Castle. I'm sure you'll love them.
Another image:

And now, I must go back to work in the new zone.

Good news for slow computers

I've been working trying to fix the 'trapped rat' bug. That is, sometimes enemies were trapped in the borders of the map.
The matter is that, trying to fix it, I've found a way to improve the game performance. You can compare the mean FPS (23.03) in this picture with the same stat in a image at the same point in a previous post (it was 18.07 but it was behind the stat screen).

Anyway, that means a 20% of game speed improvement. :)

By the way, I've also fixed some othe minor bugs like the one with Beth sleeping under the bed.

And, I've also added a new minor feature. If you look carefuly the image (it's actually not easy to be seen), you may discover it.

Trees

Crappy trees:

Awesome trees:
(Thanks to Kyrieru's tips)

It was like 3 hours adding vertex... but I think it worths the time spent!
