Now it's official, I can't work any more in my game.
I'm not at my best momment. I can't find any job after a year searching. Also, I'm going through family problems and lovesickness.
Does that mean that you'll never play a new version of my game? I don't know. I count on pass this situation. I always do. Then I'll probably continue it. I enjoy working with Flash a lot (drawing and programming). I'm pretty sure that the game programming bug will bite me again, but I don't know when. But I can't concentrate until I figure out my life.
I hope to see you all soon. Otherwsie, I loved the road I walked with you all.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think your Game was the most ambitious and most promising Project I ever saw. It was courageous with a lot of effort and thought. And it was something different. It's a pitty to see it scrapped, but your personal needs are always priority number one.

Everyone's life takes a shit turn at some point;
be it the power of an economic recession, the pain of a lost love, or the difficulties from family life.
Things will improve. I advise you rest for a few days.

I'm European too. Things are going to be crap here for the next four or five years.
But they will get better.
Economic recessions, unemployment, lovesickness. None of these last forever. A week ago I felt as if all was lost for me. Then everything suddenly fell back into place.
Often we do not steer our ships, we rely upon the winds of change.
However, sometimes we do get to steer, sometimes we get to be captain. When these opportunities to seize the ship's wheel appear grab them.
When these opportunities appear turn your ship the direction you want.
When these opportunities present themselves guide your ship through the storms of life.
I'll still frequent this blog. It's been on my bookmark toolbar for 9 or so months. I'll be damned if I take it off now.

You should sell this game. Let others take the programming. The project is too good to throw it. Maybe you find a job in programming or game development after the sale of "Sex Realm." The game will be released soon, you'll find your way.

ReplyDeleteI've been in the games industry for over a decade, and you have better integrity, dedication, and passion than many of the professionals I've worked with over the years. You have real talent, and the way that you've managed dealing with your community on this board speaks well of you. You will find another job, you will find another love. I know it might not seem that way right now, but as long as you keep walking you'll always get out of the dark places you're in and into the light.
Add this to all the words of condolences and support you have gotten so far. I also think you have added much to the community with the effort to making such a well thought-out game. May it serve as inspiration to somebody else to make the plunge!

I've been following this amazing game since the almost the beginning of the whole thing, and like everyone's been saying even if the game does end up staying at it's current point forever you made an amazing game that was revolutionary. You've never been at all a disappointment with your regular feedback and updates. After having this page on my bookmark since July of 2011 I don't think I'm ever gonna remove it. I wish you luck in getting your life back together sir. And I thank you for your dedicated service.
