Polymorphic items

That's the new feature I've been working last week.

First of all, an explanation: Imagine you find a new armour with an awesome stat, but the one you are wearing looks much better. Would you prefer a better look instead of a better stat ?

Not anymore! Here come the new polymorphic items!
You can transfer stats or even the way an item looks to the new polymorphic items. For example, you can apply fire resistance from a magic pants to the Polymorphic pants. Or maybe you could transfer the look of a pretty sandals to the Polymorphic boots !!!

You can transfer any stat you want to those new items, but once you transfer it, the original item is destroyed.

So, more customization choices for the game.






Only Magic Crafters NPCs can transfer stats, as you can see in the video.

    2)So, I can now create MATCHING «armor» set when still have adequate stats? Wow! I want this since I start watching this project. No more dress+pants combinations. Plus, some starting clothes (goth’s one) look good, but have abysmal stats (actually, negative one!).
    3)Frozen resistance? So, there will be froze-attack enemies? Hmm…
    4)Black dress what I suggested look even better then I imagined. Thanks! Forgive me if I ask too much, but can You please add green dress as well? One of my favorite combinations — redhead in green.

    1. With almost zero loot (and even less possibility to buy it), it isn’t cheatty. I think, it will not even with possibility to buy unlimited stat-less equipment, which we don’t know will be or not.

  5. 1)Maybe move «Exit-to-main-menu» button to «Options» menu? It will free one inventory slot (they are limited).

    2)Is it possible to move money to stats menu, and free their inventory slot?

    3)Will be there rebalancing of starting options? Some of them completely pointless. Maybe they will provide other boosts (even if bonuses not obvious since start), or there will be unique scenes for innocent character (for example, if «vaginal sex» stat at zero, there will be different reaction when it occur first time). Of course, this required lot of work and even more brainstorm, but can it happen at all?

    1. 1) I prefer not adding more keys to the game. Now the game uses a lot.

      2) I could do it, but I prefer working in other stuff.

      3) I don't like that the starting options have a great impact in gameplay. The background of the character is just to give a small taste.

    2. 1)Maybe just add standard «pause menu» on ESC button, and move to it options, escape to menu, escape from the game, etc? Since, its where such function usually belongs. But, if it too hard to implement and/or looks extremely badly, then I think we can live without it; its sad, but not deadly.

      2)Of course, it is low-priority, but when you will actually find time to do it, it will be good. We will wait.

      I actually too much in RPG, maybe that mess with my perception of game and forced to search for complexity where isn’t one.

      I think, I must reformulate initial third question, and divide it into different question.

      1)Will it be possible to start game as «innocent» character (she not only not pervert yet, but this all will be embarrassing new experience to Beth (for example, zero «vaginal sex» stat suggest what she don’t have it at all until now)? Something like in «Marion is Missing: Peach Untold Tales» from LoK, but will less insane dialogs. If not, I will be sad, but with time I will live it down.

      2)There some options which let you start with less sluttyness (she prefers looks like… three variants). Will be there any reasons to choose them when you need to max it out if you want to see anything (except, maybe, some weird kind of «challenge»)? Benefits from low sluttyness and/or dangers of high sluttyness? Because now you just want max it out in order to see anything. If there will be lust-based dangers, less slutty characters can have more resistance to it.

      3)Two of four characters actually have bonuses, and at least one («good girl») don’t have any, so there IS impact in gameplay. Solution there either reduce it even further (and possibly make game more boring) or add something new and possibly broke balance even further. First option’s execution is simple: add glasses to all girls or remove it’s stat boost (+1), and rebalance stats of other clothes in way which make overall basic stats equal for all. But I repeat, it will be boring.

      Still work on possible bonuses/traits of characters which will no be overpowered. I will write about them later, if not trapped myself in dead-end again.

    3. 1) There are two "virgin" options among the character settings. Also, the third one is almost virgin too. And some dialogs are a bit different depending of the slutyness.

      2) As you know, some events depend of the value of Beth's slutyness. In fact, she won't accept some kind of sex events if she doesn't have enough of it (because she doesn't feel confortable with that kind of sex). Also, ending will depend of the slutyness.

      3)Differences if starting stats are really slight. You can balance them after 5 minutes of gameplay.

  7. I'm new to this game, but have completed all quests, so I'm looking forward to new areas being added. Only two things remain to overcome in my game, the plant and the bridge guard.

    Is the plant supposed to be beatable? I'm level 8 and can't do almost any damage to it using fire, managed to hit it only once, fire always misses the plant. Am I supposed to keep leveling up in order to beat it?

    About the bridge guard... how much do I need to increase seduction in order to, let's say, interact with him?

    1. Plant is beatable, but it's hard. Maybe not more leveling, but you could need a better equipment.

      I don't remember how much seduction you need for the guard. Maybe 20+something. Level 8 and a nice dress could be enough.

  9. Can you please add «save-and-quit» option (either manually or through check-points)? After loading save file will be deleted, so it one-time use only, for purposes of continuing a game.

    Because, lost progress only because you can’t find save-pages in very rare and very random loot (and you already used all bought from traders), seems very unfair. Especially when game will be bigger.

    1. That seems a bit dangerous. What if "saving after loading" fails? You'll loose all your progress. Also, some people would prefer having saves in several parts of the game, just to explore different options.

      Don't worry about saves. I'll be adding more pages along the new zones and they will be available in more traders.

    2. If I haven’t any pages when I need to stop playing by any reason, I lose all progress too, so that way or another — what the difference? With that option, I at least have chance.

  11. Can you add merchants (at least in the city) possibility to re-supply their goods? Two possible ways:

    1)If they have certain goods in less then default amount, they will acquire new ones after certain amount of time (like, for ex., alchemic create new potions, tailor create new clothes, etc)

    2)They have sets of available goods, and will interchange them after certain amount of time. After this, their supply will be restored, but items which you previously sold to them will be gone (they re-sold them).

    3)Hybrid mechanic: traveled merchants (like elf trader) will use first one, city-based merchants will use second one.

    1) third size of tits

    3) cum stays on body and cloth (apply a buff in sluttyness and debuff in seduction)

    1. 1) Nope. I have an extra job every time I want to create a new chest cloth, because I need to do it for every boob size. More boob sizes means more work.
      2) I love it. I'll keep the image for a future bikini.
      3) Yes, I planned it very long ago. Also sweat will stays on body.
      4) He's actually harder to be satisfied. But he doesn't have a bigger tool. But other NPCs do.

  15. I think I'm missing something. What keys do you use to put the two items in the slots for the Polymorphic Item feature? I can only get items into the 'from' slot, not the 'to' slot.

    1. Right slot is for items to get the stat from.
      Left slot is for the polymorphic item you want to transfer to.

      So, you need to find a polymorphic item.
